A bright amethyst gemstone is oval cut and carved with a 'Rose of Sharon' intaglio in this romantic ring from the 1870s. The rose is gilt with gold and set with rose cut diamonds, standing out beautifully against the lilac hues of the amethyst. The pronged setting is handmade in 14k rose gold. The gem measures 1/2 inch by 5/8 inch across the top, for scale. The ring is currently a size 5 1/2 and may be easily resized up or down upon request.
